This isn’t really a recent photograph, but one I took whilst on holiday on the west coast (Scotland) in 2009. Perhaps it’s cheating to use an old pic, but I wouldn’t normally post pictures of flowers, so it gives me a good excuse to use it.
The location was Arduaine Garden in Argyll, a property run by the National Trust for Scotland. Technically it wasn’t spring, either; it was actually late February, but the signs were there.
If I had been on the ball I’d have gone out to take some pictures today. The weather was favourable and the sun shone for most of the day. After the winter we’ve just had, I’m glad to see a bit of sunshine. The days are beginning to stretch out too, which tends to make me a happier bunny.
I’ve got a couple of catch up posts to do due to my recent “holiday”, so if conditions are right tomorrow I’ll try and get out and about to snap some more.
